When you hire me for your internet/web projects you get a business technologist with a long and deep business sense of the internet. Since 1976 I’ve stayed on top of online technologies and the most current marketing trends and opportunities.
In the early 80’s I started using online services as a business research tool. Anyone remember “The Source,” pioneered by Reader’s Digest?
This is my first portable computer. At less than 1% of the speed we have today I could clumsily use dial-up from a pay phone. That is, if I had an extension cord and wall socket nearby.
From engineering and business schools I got into management consulting as a corporate headhunter of technical talent, eventually started my own operation, then later shifted into marketing and strategic planning for medium and small businesses.
By 1993, just as the Web as we know it began, I saw how the internet was going to change everything about business and communications. Consulting projects quickly morphed into a combo of web programming & marketing.
Because I’ve been through a few business cycles and through every iteration of the internet era, you’ll get a ‘web guy’ who knows how to stay on top of the what’s possible and what’s timeless.
